If a candidate cancels a test or wishes to change the test date 35 or more calendar days before the test, he/she is entitled to a refund of the registration fee or test rescheduling fee with a deduction of 25% of the amount paid.To do this, the candidate must fill out Request for Refund Form and submit it to our center staff.
Candidates who seek to cancel their registration or transfer test dates within the five-week period prior to the test date will only receive a refund if they can satisfy to the Administrator that their ability to sit the test has been affected by illness or serious cause. Serious causes include:
- illness – e.g. hospital admission, serious injury or illness (does not include minor illness such as a mild cold)
- loss or bereavement – death of a close family member
- hardship/trauma – victim of crime, victim of a traffic accident
- military service.
If there are less than 48 hours remaining before the test, no refund will be issued for test cancellations.
To cancel or reschedule within this period, the candidate must fill out a Request for Refund Form and submit it to our center staff along with supporting documents (sick list, medical certificate, death certificate, police report, copy of subpoena, etc.). Statutory applications and certificates signed by family members will not be accepted.
