You can cancel your registration
For paper-based tests
If you cancel your registration at least five weeks before the test date, you will receive a refund of the test fee, minus a 25% administration fee. To do this, please complete and submit a Request for Refund Form.
If you cancel your registration within five weeks or less of the test date, you will not receive a refund unless you can provide appropriate evidence to support your cancellation.
Please note that we do not accept sick notes issued by family members.

If you apply for a transfer at least five weeks before the test date, your registration will be transferred but you will have to pay 25% administration fee.To do this, please complete and submit a Request for Transfer Form.
If you wish to transfer test dates within the five-week period prior to the test date, we will treat this as a cancellation and you will not receive a refund unless you can provide appropriate evidence to support your request.
Please note that the new test date must be within three months of the original date.
In cases of illness on test day, transfer is possible within five weeks of the test if an original medical certificate is provided within five working days of the test date.
If you receive a transfer to new test date (either before the test or due to illness) and are ill on the second test date, then you are not entitled to a refund of the test fee nor to any further transfer to a new test date.
